This page contains a list of all the buildings within Green Hell. Keep in mind not all buildings are available immediately upon starting the game. You will need to find these structures while exploring to unlock the ability to build them in the current version of the game.

Old[ | ]

Shelters[ | ]

Shelters are one of the most important buildings in Green Hell. They are used for saving the players progress.

Some shelters can also be used for sleep which restores the players energy and increases sanity. Small shelters have a slot for beds to lock in place to, and provide a small amount of protection from the rain.

Beds[ | ]

Beds are used for sleeping which will restore the players energy and increases sanity.


Fire[ | ]

Fires can be used to cook meat and soups and provide a light source. Being near a fire will help increase the players sanity. Fires can be fueled with Sticks, Charcoal, Feathers and Rope which extends the fires burn length. They can be extinguished when it is raining if they are not protected by a shelter. Fires can also damage a player if they walk into them and give player an abrasion.


Food[ | ]

These buildings provide a way to cook, smoke or dry food.


Water[ | ]

These buildings provide a way to filter dirty water to produce clean water. Some will collect moisture from the air to produce clean water.


Traps[ | ]

Animal Traps[ | ]

These traps are used to catch animals.


Human Traps[ | ]

These traps are used to kill natives but can kill wildlife.

Modular Shelters[ | ]

Modular shelters are made up of four parts; frame, wall, shed and roof. Each part is built separately and can be combined giving the player the creative freedom to build custom shelters. Modular shelters provide protection from the rain once a roof is added. You can also place other buildings and structures under them. A basic frame structure allows the player to save their game. See Custom Building for more info on attachments. As of December 19th, 2019, V.1.3, you are now can do multilevel stories shelter using modular shelter.

Mud constructions are use to attach to modular buildings to improve their durability and look. See Custom Building for more info on attachments.

These structures are used to store materials.

These structures are used to grow plants. See Plant Cultivation for more information on growing plants.

These structures are used to house and care for livestock.
