The Cane Toad is a species of passive animal in Green Hell. They can be harvested for meat.

Basic Info[edit | edit source]

Cane Toads can be found near rivers around the rainforest. They are small in size and can sometimes be hard to spot as they tend to blend into the environment when they are not moving. When the player is in close proximity to a cane toad they will be able to hear it croaking.

Cane toads can usually be killed with one hit by most weapons. They can also be caught using small traps.

Once dead, the cane toad can be harvested for 1 raw Cane Toad Meat. The meat then can be cooked, smoked or dried and eaten.

Harvest[edit | edit source]

To pick a dead cane toad and place it in your backpack, press E.
If you wish to harvest the cane toad from your backpack, first press Tab to open the backpack, then use the Right Mouse Button to harvest.

If you don't have the room in your backpack to pick up the dead cane toad, you can also use the Right Mouse Button while the cane toad is on the ground to harvest meat.
