William is an item which was added in update V.1.0 to Green Hell.
Basic Info[ | ]
William also know as Ball, is an Easter egg which can be found in green hell. A tribute to "Wilson" from the movie "Cast Away" starring Tom Hanks.
William can not be placed in the backpack. However the player can pick up William and carry it around and leave it at their camp for company. When first finding William the player can choose to name it either “Ball” or “William”.

Creepy Jar first announced William as a companion DLC for Green Hell on April Fools Days 2019.
"Need someone to listen to your jungle surviving woes? Never fear, for William is here. William is a great listener, and never has any complaints."
William was finally added to Green Hell during the games full release from early access on 5th September 2019.
