Logs are obtained when the player cuts down medium sized trees. They can be used to construct various in game items such as shelters and traps.
The player can carry three logs at once, but cannot interact with anything else in the game until these are dropped or used.
Logs can be harvested to produce four sticks and one plank or hit with an axe to produce long sticks and a plank.
Up to 20 logs can be stored in a Stand - Logs. A log taken directly from a stand will not spawn a Centipede. Otherwise there is a chance to spawn a centipede when picking up logs directly from the ground.
