The Spirits of Amazonia is an book written by Jake Higgins. After discovering the lost tribe of the Yabahuaca, Jake wrote a book describing the tribes customs and rituals. It also contained details of the local delicacies and the skills need to survive in the jungle's harsh environment.
The book was advertised to contain the secrets of the Yabahuaca's high immunity to sickness. Unfortunately the book was a failure and many readers are left disappointed. The Global Book magazine article mentions that Jake avoided the subject and failed to provide any details of the tribes secret to eternal health. However, several organizations became increasingly interested in the Yabahuaca tribe after seeing the potential of Jake's extraordinary claims. The pharmaceutical company Omolu Corp reach out to Jake in a letter expressing an interest in his work and offer to invest a substantial amount of money for the secrets of the Yabahuaca's immunity.
After an outbreak of a unknown virus in Brazil, refugees Izabel and Joao use The Spirits of Amazonia as an guide to help them locate the Yabahuaca tribe in the hopes of finding a cure.
Several copies of both the front and rear cover of the book can be found in Jake's second vision.

It can be suggested that Jake was extremely confident that the book would be a huge hit. Shorty after publishing The Spirits of Amazonia, Jake took out a loan with a radio and television industry department, suggesting that he may be planning to start a career in television.
