Wiki claim[edit source]

Hi there, so I contacted Supernatural19, which is the current guardian for Green Hell Wiki and they still have about 2 hours to respond to my message before being flagged as inactive. In the meantime, I've made available the wiki claim button which redirects to https://greenhell.gamepedia.com/Special:ClaimWiki . You can start filling this up and when the time comes I'll see about making you a guardian for this wiki. :) MannedTooth (talk) 18:11, 9 October 2018 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know MannedTooth, i have sent off my application. Miamew3 (talk) 20:58, 9 October 2018 (UTC)

Transparent table headers[edit source]

Hey there, I received your email, can you link me to a page where you want a transparent header to be added? I can make it happen, but I need to know where and why. :) MannedTooth (talk) 01:32, 12 July 2019 (UTC)

Thanks MannedTooth. Wanted transparent headers for these tables on the Consumables page, so i can add icons instead of text. They look odd against the current background color. Miamew3 (talk) 02:40, 12 July 2019 (UTC)
Do you want to do it like this?
Food Carb Icon.png Fat Icon.png Protein Icon.png Water Icon.png Energy Sanity Decay timer Health

Setting those to be transparent is quite easy if you really want it to be, though transparent headers are generally not a good style choice. We could test with other colors or eventually a semi-transparent color, just enough to tell the difference between a header and a data row. MannedTooth (talk) 18:06, 12 July 2019 (UTC)
@SNN95 That is exactly i was going for, but the table still needs to be sortable. @MannedTooth Semi-transparent sounds good too, the icons in the example table above are the ones we will be using. Miamew3 (talk) 23:20, 12 July 2019 (UTC)
How's that? MannedTooth (talk) 01:47, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
Works a treat. Thank you! Miamew3 (talk) 04:19, 13 July 2019 (UTC)

Column formatting[edit source]

Hello, I just made my first edit on the wiki in Inventroy Items because I've already made a list on the updated item weights for myself and wanted to share it. But now it kind of bothers me that the tables have different widths. Is there a way to set a specific width, that applies to all tables. I can't find any information in the Gamepedia Help and trying out different thing didn't do the trick either. Maybe I'm just overlooking something :/ If it is possible, it would be nice to get the relevant information. Thanks in advance :) igelei1337 (talk)

Hi, thanks for updating the weights. I have been meaning to do it but have been focused on completing the story side of green hell. Yeah you can change the width, just add for example, width="40%" at the end of each "wikitable sortable" style="display: inline-table;"
Have a play with it, don't worry if you cant figure it out I can have a go at it over the weekend if you cant. Miamew3 (talk) 02:02, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
Header text
For example this is 40%
I'll experiment with it a bit. Thank you :D igelei1337 (talk) 02:58, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
btw if there is a page you want me to look into or you need more information, I'm happy to help. I've added my discord, so feel free to message me. --igelei1337 (talk) 04:38, 25 October 2019 (UTC)

New mapping project[edit source]

I wanna do a map display project with clickable icon on it. So here is the heads up to you, so you know that if I spammed Special:RecentChanges activity so much for a reason. There will be a lot of experiments and requests for you to give me permit to install new extensions and upload something (like blank map without icon, I can do it if possible) into this wiki. SNN95 (talk) 15:53, 8 November 2019 (UTC)

Yeah i had been thinking of the same thing but had no idea where to start. You can go ahead and do this, just let me know if you need anything. I've already had mailed the dev team for some missing images as well as blank maps, hopefully they wont take too long to be delivered. Miamew3 (talk) 16:43, 8 November 2019 (UTC)
The core concept is done! You can see it here. Need more tweaks so it will become flexible to use. Mobile view is ok. But need something that whenever tap on one of the icon, it direct you to the said page. SNN95 (talk) 17:04, 8 November 2019 (UTC)
