Coconut Palm Tree is a plant added to Green Hell in update V.0.1 .

Basic Info

The Coconut Palm Tree has a long, thin trunk and large frond of feather shaped leaves on top. The rainforest is the perfect habitat for these plants to grow, they can be widely found all around the forest, usually in patches of several trees.

Coconut palm trees produce green coconuts, which can be seen growing at the base of the fronds or found on the ground after they fall. Each coconut palm tree can produce up to four coconuts at a time. The green coconuts can be knocked out of the tree by throwing stones, using arrows and a bow at them or may sometimes be found lying near the base of the tree.

The green coconuts can be struck with a blade or axe, to remove the outer shell to reveal a brown coconut. The coconut can be used as a source of water and food, and the coconut shell can be used as a cooking vessel or water collection tool or can be crafted into a Coconut Bidon. The coconut shell is used to make the pottery table too.

Coconut palm trees can be cut down for building resources.
