Mia's Journal 01 is a story item which was added in update V.1.0 to Green Hell.
Basic Info[ | ]
Mia's journal 01 notes can be found on top of her backpack at the Yabahuaca village in Jake's first vision. The notes give brief details about Mia's interaction with the tribe after reaching the village. She also expresses some of her concerns for her husband Jake.
Transcription[ | ]
Today I've reached the village. So far I've had no success communicating with the Yabahuaca. They treat me like I'm invisible - which is still better than being chased away. I must earn their trust, show them that I'm just like them, and this means giving up the luxuries of technology... We'll see how long I'll last eating nothing but bananas. Jake stayed at the camp. I'm worried about him. When he fell, he hurt himself pretty badly. He says he's fine, but I could swear i heard hesitation in his voice... I hope it's only my imagination and everything's alright. I know he's a grown man, but he's so clumsy! In the jungle you have to watch your every step. Even the tiniest scratch can be lethal if it gets infected. I don't even want to think about it.
