The Plantain Lily is a plant which was added in update V.0.1 to Green Hell.

Basic Info

The Plantain Lily plant is recognizable by its heart shaped leaves with white margins and three purple flowers. They can be found all around the rainforest. When the player first finds this plant, the leaves and flowers will show as ‘unknown’. The player can currently only learn the name of this herbal plant by finding page 86 while in story mode.

The Plantain Lily can be cut down for one Plantain Lily leaf and one Plantain Lily flowers. Once collected the leaf can be eaten alone for antivenom properties and provides carbohydrates. It can also be used to craft the lily dressing.

Plant Cultivation

Plantain Lily can be grown by the player. This can be done by drying the flowers and placing them in the small planting box. When the plant has fully matured it can be cut down for more resources.

Trivia

During the Green Hell full release update V.1.0 from early access, the player could discover the name of this plant and it's leaf by finding an story item which would unlock the plants name. In earlier versions the plant and the leaf was named in the players notebook as unknown herb.

In plant cultivation update V.1.1 the Plantain Lily flowers was added as an item and would now drop from the plant when cut down by the player. Previously the flower could be seen on the plant but only the leaf would be given when cut.
